About Istanbul Arel University
Istanbul Arel University was founded in 2007 and is a private foundation university recognised by the Turkish Council of Higher Education (YÖK). It is on the European side of Istanbul, with its main campus in Tepekent, Büyükçekmece, and another campus in Sefaköy.
The university has faculties of Medicine, Engineering, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Communication, Architecture, Health Sciences and Fine Arts. Most programs are taught in Turkish, with English-taught programs in Business Administration, International Relations, International Trade, Computer, Electrical and Industrial Engineering, and Molecular Biology.
